Before

Originally, this home was built as a single-story 3 bedroom, 3.5 baths consisting of 3,391 square feet under air.  It has a nice open design to take advantage of the beautiful water views and adequate covered lanai space.  The decorating style was Mediterranean with heavy accents that did not fit the style tastes of the new homeowners.  Overall, this was a nice home on a beautiful lot, but did not meet the needs or style of the new owners.

After

The new home plan was to add to the existing laundry room and then stack additional living space above the laundry room and garage.  In doing so, we added 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room and balcony upstairs.  Altogether over 1,100 square feet of living space was added to the home making the new total 4,477 square feet.  In addition to the structural work, we changed the style and color scheme of the entire home to a “Tommy Bahama” style.  Faux finishes were applied to the common areas of the existing home, the office space was transformed from an empty room to a cherry cabinet study, the family room cabinetry was replaced and the furnishings throughout were redone to reflect the new style.  We also utilized some of the covered lanai to install an outdoor kitchen, complete with cabinetry, exhaust hood and Wolf rotisserie grill.  Each addition or change to the home was performed by experienced and gifted craftsman, who take great pride in their work, and was closely supervised by our project managers.  This beautiful home and the transformation it underwent demonstrates what is possible when remodeling your home.
