Arlington Heights, IL (March 3, 2016) — Professional Builder magazine recently announced its annual list of 40 Under 40 builder superstars on its website, ProBuilder.com. Each member of the Class of 2016 is profiled in the March 2016 issue. Nominations totaled more than 350 this year, illustrating the depth of talent among this collection of future, and present, industry leaders. A panel of Professional Builder editors selected the winners, based on both personal and professional accomplishments.
This year’s class represents all regions of the United States. With the exception of one 29- year-old CFO, the class is solidly in their 30s, and many feel their major accomplishments are the strategies they implemented to survive the housing recession.
Class members include four women and 36 men who carry such titles as president, partner, owner, CEO, vice president, director, and project manager. Many of these progressive young leaders started their companies while in their 20s. Others have grown their companies by replacing a legacy system, expanding into new markets and mastering new tasks.
Active in community service, many of the 40 Under 40 honorees have built homes for Habitat for Humanity or other charitable organizations. One builder who emigrated from Venezuela has received the Congressional Medal of Merit for distinguished contributions. Another plans to run for Congress.
“I look forward each year to the selection process of the 40 Under 40 honorees,” says Editorial Director Denise Dersin. “These young leaders are as dedicated to serving their communities as they are to growing their businesses, and have remarkable achievements in their personal lives as well.”
